About

Žiedūnė Aleknaitė is a multifaceted artist, painter, designer, and accessory maker, active since 2003. Her artistic portfolio features abstract and philosophical paintings, mainly using acrylic on round canvases. Notably, her exhibitions like “Ryškus puslapis” (“Bright page”) in 2015 and other recent showcases at Kėdainiai public library demonstrate her evolving style. In 2015, she founded the “Žiedūnės integruotų menų studija” (“Žiedūnė’s studio for integrated arts”) to promote sustainability in fashion, hosting workshops and educational programs for various audiences.

Recently, Žiedūnė has expanded her artistic repertoire by creating a new collection called “Silks Muse” of silk scarves. Each scarf is a unique piece, featuring her original paintings transferred onto silk, combining her love for painting and fashion design. This new line showcases her ability to innovate and merge artistic expression with wearable art.

Žiedūnė has gained recognition for her “Luknė” dome that she designed by herself. Since 2021 it became a center of creative arts for many people. Her membership in the international painting association in Rome in 2024 and participation in global exhibitions highlight her international appeal and contribution to the arts.
